Rachael A. Schefrin, Theatre Artist
Originally an athlete from Colorado, Rachael rekindled her love for theater in her last two years of undergrad at Connecticut College. Since then, her passion has taken her to London to study at the London Dramatic Academy and to New York to receive her MFA from the Actor’s Studio Drama School. Her film work includes Celebrity Dog, Black Moonlight, Circus Dreams, and Territory. She is currently a company member of the brand new LES Shakes (Lower East Side Shakespeare Company) and pursuing stunt work in order to become the next best film super hero!
TATIP Work
Rachael has just completed both her in-school residency at PS 676 under the tutelage of Renee Flagler and Pamella Allen and her after-school residency at PS 84 under Nancy Volante and Anji Crain. TATIP has asked her to stay on with her after-school residency and assist/co-teach with Anji Crain for the rest of the year, which she is more than happy to accept.
“TATIP has given me the confidence and experience to find my own voice as a teaching artist. My only hope is that I can give my students what TATIP has given to me.”
