TAP Work:
“During TAP, I co-facilitated our first salon, offering a poem at the Open Mic portion, and led a guided movement/meditation at the beginning, as well as offered support throughout. I was apart of the Inclusive and Collaborative Art Making Fieldwork Workshop during TAP. I live in Brooklyn, and at the onset of TAP I finished co-teaching an online course with East Hampton High. The course was called “Girls Gaze”, which supports students to access storytelling through film. I currently teach yoga in person.”
Most Memorable TAP Moment:
“MEOW MEOW, PERIOD”

“WHAT IF WE HAD A HOLIDAY FOR SURVIVORS”
By Star Stone
What if we had a national holiday for survivors, where every woman, trans, and non-binary
individual got a day off
They would be handed medals for serving their country
Home of the brave, where the brave aren’t free.
Today we remember them and mourn those we lost.
Maybe then we’d see how many seats in school rape occupies
How many homes its lived in
How many sports games its in played in
How many hospitals its died in
Maybe then we’d treat our survivors like we treat our veterans, each fighting a war that wasn’t
theirs to begin with, and if we come out alive-
We are told we are survivors, handed a medal and
a pat on the back
Thank you for serving your country.
