Ms. Kent is a Principal at Apollo Global Management where she is a member of the Apollo Portfolio Performance Solutions team. In her role, she is responsible for driving value across the portfolio, working with companies on strategy development and operational improvement from pre-transaction diligence through exit. Prior to joining Apollo in early 2024, Ms. Kent was an Assistant Vice President in the portfolio operations group at BBH Capital Partners. Before that, Ms. Kent spent 7+ years as the Director of Operations and Finance at Sakara Life, a high-growth direct to consumer start up. Ms. Kent started her career as a recruiter in the financial services industry. Ms. Kent graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in Religion and Middle Eastern Studies.
Growing up, Ms. Kent’s parents owned an art gallery in Key West, FL, where she experienced the power of using art and creative expression to build connections and an understanding of the world. She was lucky to grow up in a community that valued and nurtured the arts, and is inspired by Community-Word Project’s mission and is thrilled to serve on its board.
