Monica Chen is an Enterprise Sales Team Leader and Senior Relationship Manager at Bloomberg. In this role, she is responsible for not only building strong client relationships across the Bloomberg Enterprise, but also for delivering a high quality training program to the up-and-coming Sales account managers.
Prior to joining Bloomberg in 2014, she worked as a Structured Products Salesperson at Lehman Brothers before the financial crisis, and then transitioned to Barclays in a similar role after the financial crisis. During her time on the Street, she discovered her passion for mentoring and volunteering.
Monica grew up in the suburbs of New Jersey where she attended public schools. She currently lives in New Jersey with her husband and two boys, who also attend public school. Monica firmly believes that success at any age starts with not only hard work, but also a well-rounded foundation built on a strong education and exposure to the arts. She is grateful to her parents for challenging her to study hard and also pushing her to dance, play piano, and read for fun from an early age. It was this diverse exposure to music, dance, and literature that enabled Monica to become a successful leader who thinks outside the box. She joined CWP because she is passionate about providing our youth with similar experiences and helping to set them on their path to success.
