David Onabanjo is a Nigerian-American multimedia artist born and raised in the Bronx, NY. His art deals with how slowing down to pay attention is a central part of healing, especially in our fast-paced world. He draws strong influences from West African photography, growing up listening to the radio, experimental Black film, and much more. He is passionate about inviting young people of color to embrace art as a vehicle to learn more about themselves and what makes them feel deeply.
