Alex is an Executive Director at Wells Fargo New York on the fund finance origination team where he is responsible for origination, structuring and execution of fund finance transactions for global sponsor clients. Within his role, Alex covers private equity, private credit, real estate and infrastructure managers across the full spectrum of fund lending products and their associated hedging needs. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Alex spent five years at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation in a similar role and started his career at Citigroup on the trade finance team. Alex graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia Honors College with a B.B.A. in Finance and International Business.
Prior to his career in banking, Alex gained a deep appreciation for the importance of literacy and multimodal education as an ESL teacher at the Latin American Association in Atlanta where he taught entry level English. From this role, Alex witnessed the benefits of cultivating personal voice and its positive impact on student outcomes.
Alex resides in NYC with his wife and daughter.
