Pilar is a first generation Chilean-American born in Michigan who grew up in Chile were she studied a BA in Agriculture. She moved to Rochester to continue graduate studies. While living there, she realized she wanted to be more involved with her community and started volunteering with different organizations that support different communities in need. Pilar volunteers with “Grupo Cultural Latinos in Rochester” as President of the Board and supports the creation and event setup. She also volunteers with the UofR Alumni Association leading the Chile Alumni Network. Pilar is a Voice-Over artist, wool and needle felter, dancer and singer.
