Amira is a sister, daughter, friend, lover and artist. She has worked in the healthcare space for the past eight years. She believes healthcare is a human right. She believes all should have access to art. She believes music and dancing always makes her feel better. Outside of her full-time job, she’s involved with City Harvest, Performing Arts Mosaic and CityLore. She is currently co-writing a musical with her dear friend and trying to get her first chapbook published.
