Justin is a Partner in the international law firm of Sidley Austin LLP, where he focuses his practice on corporate law and counsels private equity firms and public companies in a wide variety of transactions including M&A, corporate governance, shareholder activism, and proxy contests. Prior to joining Sidley, he was a partner at another global law firm, where he advised boards of directors of public companies with internal governance matters and public mergers in the face of activist shareholders. In his pro bono practice, Justin represents 501(c)(3) organizations on various commercial, corporate, organization, and governance matters.
Justin graduated from Notre Dame Law School, where he served as executive managing editor of the Notre Dame Journal of Law, Ethics & Public Policy. He received his B.A. in English Literature and Political Science from Miami University.
Justin lives in New York with his wife and daughter.
