TAYLOR VALENTINE

TAYLOR VALENTINE

TEACHING ARTISTS

Taylor is a near-20 year theatre professional who has worked all over the country under various acting auspices. From outdoor to indoor, Shakespeare to Shepard, traveling children's theatre to in-your-face fringe and regional to off-Broadway, Taylor has seen and been seen a lot. Most recently, he appeared at the Actor Funds Arts Center in BK as The Mayor in Smith Street Stage's Early Stages production of Enemy, an original exploration of Ibsen's "Enemy of the People"

Taylor is extremely pleased to be a part of the CWP team and investigate further the world of social justice and what it means for youth to take ownership of their creativity.  In addition to CWP, Taylor currently teaches with Opening Act, LEAP, Cypress Hills Local Development Corporation, and Smith Street Stage.

Taylor is a member of Blessed Unrest Theatre Company in NYC, holds a BA in Theatre from Catawba College, an MFA in Acting from Case Western Reserve University, and is continually learning as much as he can from his family, his students, his colleagues and those who don't even know they are teaching him. He'd like to give thanks for all the applause and applaud all those who give thanks...
