Nina Lary is a writer, editor, and educator, originally from California. After years of working for magazines and newspapers, she moved east to pursue an MFA in creative nonfiction from Rutgers. Dedicated to helping young writers cultivate and trust the knowledge of their own voices, she’s learned most of what she knows from poets. Her work has been published or is forthcoming in Brooklyn Magazine, GOOD, Flaunt, and The Oregonian.
