Naomi Solomon has been working with teen artists and writers since she was one. From Northern California’s Camp Winnarainbow to the College of Creative Studies Arts Institute in Santa Barbara, to tutoring, mentoring, and in-school and extracurricular programs across NYC with 826NYC, iMentor, and Girls Write Now, Naomi has been thrilled to share her love of the written word in forms from personal statement to magical realism and everything in between. Her work is framed by a B.A. in Literature from the University of California Santa Barbara, and an M.A.-in-progress from the CUNY School of Professional Studies. Naomi is passionate about good writing, printmaking, positive youth development, social justice, California burritos, and puns, and appreciates that the Community-Word Project brings together so many of these passions.
