Dale Anderson


Reared in the South Carolina Low-Country, Dale Novella Anderson is a singer, songwriter, poet, videographer and educator who performs and produces events in the NYC area. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, where she earned her BA in Media Arts. She relocated to New York in 2012 and has performed in various venues including The Bitter End, The Bowery Poetry Club, the Nuyorican Poet’s Cafe, the Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning and the Delancey. She also teaches music, spoken word and digital media with the Community-Word Project, The DreamYard Project, MIMA Music and Wingspan Arts.

Dale Novella began Royaltie (Royalty) Entertainment Company (The REC) in 2011 to produce and promote music that inspires and uplifts. The REC's flagship event is "The Poet WILL Be Televised" at Funkadelic Studios, a poetry jam session that fuses Dale's loves, good music and soul wrenching poetry.
