Robin Alperstein is a Litigation Partner at Becker, Glynn, Muffly, Chassin & Hosinski. Prior to joining Becker Glynn in 2007, she worked at WilmerHale and Cravath, Swaine & Moore. She maintains a complex commercial litigation practice advising hedge funds, asset managers and others in disputes involving contracts, corporate governance, business, competition and securities. She appears regularly in federal and state courts, in arbitrations, and before the SEC. Robin graduated from the University of Virginia in 1987 and received an MA in public policy from the University of Chicago in 1992 and a JD from NYU School of Law in 1996, from which she graduated Order of the Coif. She grew up in New Jersey where she attended public schools. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two children, both of whom attend public school. Robin became involved in CWP because as a parent of children in diverse schools that are committed to arts in education, she has seen first-hand the critical role of the arts in enabling children to enhance their literacy skills and achieve their potential. She considers it a privilege to work with CWP, and is honored to be part of the process through which CWP’s inspirational and gifted teaching artists collaborate to simultaneously foster community, individual self-expression, and the analytical and critical-thinking skills of students through the creative arts.
