Patricia Fersch is the founding partner at Fersch Petitti LLC, a matrimonial and family law firm in New York City. Patricia has handled and successfully completed thousands of cases involving families caught in the turmoil of Family Law conflicts. Known for handling high-profile clients and resolving complicated legal issues, all involving child custody or divorce-related matters, Ms. Fersch was awarded the 2002 New York Law School Public Interest Coalition Award. She is also the chairperson of the Matrimonial Lawyers Pro Bono Law Project, and was appointed by the Chief Administrative Judge to serve on the New York State Judicial Committee on Women in the Courts. Ms. Fersch was the recipient of the 2015 Hanna S. Cohn Pro Bono Award from the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York for her work in co-founding the Matrimonial Pro Bono Project in New York and Kings Counties. Since 2013 to the present, Ms. Fersch has been selected to the New York Super Lawyers list. Patricia considers it an honor to work with CWP. Because of her work with families often involving children in crisis or conflict, Community Word Project appealed to Patricia because of its focus on children and the value the arts can bring into their lives.
