Jessica Wollman is Vice President, Learning Architecture at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. In this role she manages the development of HMH’s Early Learning, Reading and Intervention curricula. Prior to joining HMH in 2015, Jessica spent 18 years at Scholastic Inc., where she held a number of positions and most recently served as Vice President, Content & Instruction at Scholastic Education. While at Scholastic, Jessica researched and designed curriculum for a large number of products, from television to web to interactive eBooks. Jessica began her career as a PreK and 1st grade teacher in New York City. She graduated from Columbia University and received a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from New York University for which she was awarded a grant from The Department of Education. Jessica was drawn to Community Word Project because every child deserves access to an arts-rich education. Collaborations between organizations such as CWP and schools make that access possible.
